La misi\u00f3n de estas reuniones peri\u00f3dicas que realiza la Sociedad Internacional de Medicina Regenerativa e Ingenier\u00eda de Tejidos es reunir a expertos de todo el mundo interesados \u200b\u200ben el campo de la ingenier\u00eda de tejidos y la medicina regenerativa, para \u00a0promover la discusi\u00f3n de los desaf\u00edos y los beneficios actuales de aplicar la ingenier\u00eda de tejidos y la medicina regenerativa. Los investigadores est\u00e1n demostrando que la terapia con c\u00e9lulas madre es beneficiosa para una serie de enfermedades degenerativas que no son tratadas adecuadamente con las terapias m\u00e9dicas convencionales que est\u00e1n aprobadas actualmente.
